Sliding-scale price, and how to use it

Offering a sliding scale price is a step towards economic justice, and it requires your active participation. When we all give the best we can from where we are, we create a world of sufficiency for everyone.

We encourage you to be honest about the level you can contribute. We offer payment plans to distribute the cost over time.

$890 – Makes it possible for us to offer seats to others at a lower cost.

$700 – Supports the sustainability of this course, as it pays the actual per-person cost.

$510 – A subsidized rate for individuals with limited resources.

How it works

– Fill out the form below.
– We will get back to you by email within two business days after receiving your form.

– Payment can be by check or PayPal; we’ll send details with your acceptance email.

Cancellation and refund policy

If you cancel on or before September 4, we will refund your payment in full.
If you cancel after that date, we will prorate your refund based on the number of sessions you have attended.

Scholarships and installments

If you are unable to pay the subsidized rate and would like to attend, check the scholarship request box in the form below. We’ll reach out to discuss possibilities.

An installment plan consists of an initial $200, followed by three equal payments by the end of 2019. Once you are accepted into the course, the payment page we send you will have a simple option to choose this plan.

We encourage you to be resourceful
What resources do you have? Can your employer sponsor a part of this as professional development? Can you hold a friend-raiser?

Consider the value

If you wonder whether the cost of the course is worth the value you will receive from the course, we encourage you to spend time on the site and in conversation with yourself. If you still need more answers or aren’t sure if the course is right for you, you can follow this link to schedule a chat with Hannah to talk over your questions.

Where does the money go?

If you wonder how we spend the money that comes from the course, we can tell you. Putting this course together requires a team and other resources. The money pays the people who make the course happen. They include advisors, copywriters, site-builders, accountants, people who handle logistics, and your two facilitators. It also goes to paying for rent, snacks, insurance, software licenses, utilities, and all the things required to provide a great learning experience.
